04Bank UPI caps

How do your bank's UPI limits affect you?

The daily UPI cap comes from your bank. Most banks allow around ₹1 lakh of UPI payments a day. A deposit that would take you over it gets declined by your UPI app before it reaches KhelKing.

  • Check your daily UPI limit in your bank's app, or ask your bank.
  • The cap usually counts every UPI payment you make that day, not only the ones to KhelKing.
  • If you hit it, wait for it to reset, or ask support about a larger deposit.
  • Don't route a payment through a friend's UPI account to get around the cap. Deposits have to come from an account in your name.

05Why it's held

Why would a deposit or withdrawal be held?

Deposits

  • Debited, but not in your balanceSend support the UPI transaction ID and a screenshot. A manual check starts within 2 hours, and most are fixed within 2 to 4.
  • Still pending in your UPI appDon't pay again. A pending payment either completes or comes back to you.
  • Paid from someone else's accountIt's harder to match to you and can cause problems with KYC checks.

Withdrawals

  • KYC isn't finishedThe payout waits until your identity check is done.
  • The account isn't in your nameKhelKing only pays a verified UPI ID or bank account in your own name.
  • A typo in the detailsOne wrong digit in the account number, IFSC code or UPI ID bounces the transfer.

06Your own limit

How do you set your own deposit limit?

A limit set on a calm day decides for you on a bad one. You can lower it whenever you like.

Set a limit on WhatsApp
  1. 01

    Pick a number

Work out what you could lose this month without touching rent, bills or savings. Your limit should sit well inside that.

  2. 02

    Message support

Send the limit and the period on WhatsApp, for example a weekly deposit limit of ₹1,000.

  3. 03

    Get it confirmed

Support sets the limit and it works from that moment. Ask them to confirm it in the chat so you have it in writing.

Want to raise a limit? Wait a day before you ask. A decision made after a loss is rarely the one you'd make the next morning.
