Key takeaways
- A KhelKing bet is confirmed once it appears in your open bets, and it can't be cancelled or changed after that.
- Super over runs count only towards the match winner, not session, fancy or player markets.
- An official tie with no tie-breaker is settled as a dead heat.
- A bet accepted at an obviously wrong price is settled at the correct price or voided.
01How the rules work
Which rules apply to my bet?
These rules explain how KhelKing settles every bet, starting with the general rules and then cricket, other sports and the live casino. They apply to every bet on your account. If a market shows its own rule when you place the bet, that rule takes priority.
02General rules
What rules apply to every bet?
- Confirmed bets
- A bet is accepted once it appears in your open bets. After that it can't be changed or cancelled.
- Suspended markets
- We can suspend a market at any time, and no bets are accepted while it's suspended.
- Late bets
- A pre-match bet placed after the event has started, or after the outcome is known, is void and the stake is returned.
- Official result
- Markets settle on the official result declared when the event ends. Later changes, such as appeals, disqualifications or corrected scorecards, don't change a bet that has already settled.
- Palpable errors
- If a bet was accepted at a price that was obviously wrong, it's settled at the correct price or voided.
- Dead heats
- When selections tie, the stake is split between them and each part is paid at full odds.
- Void bets
- A void bet is treated as if it was never placed, and the stake goes back to your balance.
03Cricket match odds
How are cricket match odds settled?
- T20, ODI and The Hundred
- Settled on the official winner, including any super over or other tie-breaker.
- Official tie
- If there's no tie-breaker, bets are settled as a dead heat.
- Rain and reduced overs
- Settled on the official result, including results decided by DLS.
- No result
- If a match is abandoned or declared no result, match odds bets are void.
- Test matches
- If the match is drawn, bets on either team lose and bets on the draw win.
04Session markets
How are session markets settled?
- Settlement
- On the batting team's runs at the end of the stated over, including extras and penalty runs.
- Innings ends early
- The session settles on the innings' final total.
- Unbowled or reduced
- A session is void if none of its overs is bowled, unless the result is already decided. It's also void if the overs are reduced after the market opened.
- Super over
- Runs scored in a super over don't count towards any session.
05Rain and super overs
What happens to my bet if rain or a super over affects the match?
The same event can affect each cricket market differently. This table puts the rules side by side.
| What happens | Match odds | Sessions | Player and fancy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Super over | Counts towards the result | Doesn't count | Doesn't count |
| Rain, with a DLS result | Settles on the official DLS result | Void if overs are reduced after the market opened | Settles on the official scorecard |
| Abandoned, or no result | Void, stakes returned | Unbowled sessions void, unless already decided | Follows the rule shown on the market |
06Fancy, player and toss
How are fancy, player and toss markets settled?
- Player runs and wickets
- Settled on the official scorecard. Bets on a player who isn't in the playing XI are void. A retired batter is settled on their runs at retirement, unless they come back to bat.
- Fall of wicket and partnerships
- Settled on the score when the wicket falls, or on the innings total if it never falls.
- Super overs
- Don't count for fancy or player markets.
- Toss
- Settled on the official toss result. If no toss takes place, all toss bets are void.
07Other sports
How are football, tennis and other sports settled?
- Football
- Settled at the end of normal time, including stoppage time. Extra time and penalties don't count unless the market says so. Abandoned or postponed matches are void unless the result is already decided.
- Tennis
- If a player retires or is disqualified after the first set is completed, the player who goes through is the winner. Before that, match winner bets are void.
- Kabaddi, horse racing and esports
- Settled on the official result. Bets on a competitor who doesn't take part are void.
08Live casino
How are live casino rounds settled?
Each round settles on the dealt result, which you can see on the stream and in your bet history. If the studio interrupts a round, bets on it are void and stakes are returned.
Losing your own connection doesn't void a round. It plays out and settles on the dealt result.
09Settlement and disputes
How long does settlement take, and how do I dispute it?
Most markets settle within 5 to 15 minutes of the result. Events that run over several days, such as Test matches, can take longer.
To dispute a settlement, contact support within 7 days. Include the match, market, stake, odds and the time you placed the bet. We check it against the official result and these rules. If you disagree with the decision, you can appeal to our compliance team.
